Fox River Cleanup 2025 Update
FOX RIVER TRAIL ANNUAL CLEAN UP: OCTOBER 4, 2025
The unofficial theme of this year's annual Fox Valley Park Park District's Annual Community Clean-up Day. had to be tires! As a full set of four tires were collected along hundreds of pounds of trash. Together, volunteers from across the Fox Valley were hands-on picking up debris and litter along the scenic Fox River Trail at the Montgomery Dam and the Veteran's Island Park.
This trail is a one-of-a-kind outdoor space in our community - Kiwanis of Aurora Club along with other service entities in the Aurora community works hard to create and maintain a clean, safe, enjoyable space for families. The impact?

Whether you come with your family, your coworkers, or on your own, you’ll be part of something meaningful - check out the collective.

This clean-up is more than just a service project,... it’s a celebration of our shared home, our shared trails and the power of people coming together for good. Individuals with a shared sense of purpose came ready to connect, make a difference and leave the trail better than we found it.
